Here's a list of things not to do in DayZ

-Never drop your backpack on the ground
-Never put loaded backpack into a vehicle/safe. At reset, the backpack will be cleared
-Switching seats in a helicopter can bug and cause you to eject
-If you go base raiding, make sure you plan a way to get out before you go inside!!
-Don't ask for teleports.
-If your bleeding after constant bandages and blood bags, you need antibiotics.
-You need +5000 humanity for hero camp, -5000 for bandit
-Never leave keys inside a lockable vehicle. At server reset, they will be locked inside
-Do not park helicopters with wheels (Especially Ka-60) on metal roof tiles. They will bounce
-AI bandits can shoot you out of vehicles
-Never log out in a vehicle, you will come back injured or dead

*note on Admin*
Admins will not replace missing items that cannot be verified as being in your possession, even for a glitched login. We cannot verify that's what you had. We will replace weapon and some ammo. Also give you a couple of food and drink items and maybe your backpack. We have a lot of manipulators out there. As the old saying goes, a few ruin it for all. We will replace vehicles for glitched login situations.

Never drive an ATV over a bridge. It will throw itself and act a fool.

Dont spam side chat for admins, if they want to help you, they will help you. If they don't its usually because of a few reasons:
1. You are an idiot and complaining won't get you anywhere.
2. There are other people on the server that require attention too, wait in line.
3. we know what you want, you cant have it.
4. you have spammed it so god damn much that we have resorted to ignore your ass. we read everything that goes on side chat when we are logged in. Again, patience young grasshopper

Admins enjoy playing too. if you get shot square in the face by one I can guarantee that it was legit. We love the game enough to want to admin it, why would we spoil it for ourselves? We aren't like that here.

If you see a hacker on the server, or have (beyond reasonable doubt- I have no problem deleting ludicrous threads off this page) post it here, if we aren't online what can we do about it? ALSO MAKE DAMN SURE YOU HAVE PROOF. if you don't have proof its your word against his, we have learnt our lesson from this. nothing will get done if you start trash talking or accusing each other of it.

I mean good god children, shit happens in DayZ we are not your parents in this game, if you are stupid enough to lose something, I'm not gonna replace dat shit. Our purpose is to protect the server and its interests, not yours as individuals.

You all have a little bit of 'I want to save the world' in you. That's the wonderful thing about humanity, and its okay if you only save one person, and that person is you.

Hey John,
Long time, no chat. Youre the only around still (yeah I checked your profile, you trawl here) that would remember me. Hope you're doing good. I hope College went well, you'd be out about now. I still see you in Arma too, hope thats goind good for you too. I uninstalled it, I couldnt really play it after 04CE, too many good memories that I didnt want to squander with randoms on random servers. Message me sometime, I'd reinstall it just for you. I like to think we did good work on this website, developed as people and learnt alot about the chaos of the internet in our own little corner of it. I for one remember it with a little bit of cringe, but mostly fondness, from meeting Bredro in Planetside to developing a council and then learning how much this place meant, even after leaving.

Miss you bro, miss the memories.
Alex
